Maybelline New York- The Colossal Kajal VS The Colossal Super Black Kajal

“When I look into your Eyes, I tend to lose my thoughts”
Hey there!
The quote above is really true! The eyes are the windows of your soul. So, enhancing your eyes is a must. For today’s blog, I have Maybelline Colossal Kajal review where I am gonna compare the newly launched Maybelline Colossal Super Black Kajal with the original Maybelline Colossal Kajal.

Packaging:
Packaging for both the products are quite close but with a slight twist. Both the kajals come in twist up pen for easy and smooth use. The original colossal kajal comes with full yellow color with black words on it. While, the new colossal super black kajal comes with full black color with yellow words on it.

Promises made by them:
The Original Colossal Kajal promises to give intense black kajal which stays for 12 colossal hours, complete smudge proof. While, the New Colossal Super Black Kajal promises to give two times darker, bolder and  much intense black color in single stroke which stays upto 12 hours. It also, promises to be water proof.

Reality Check:

Ever Since, the original Maybelline Colossal Kajal was launched, I have been loyal to it religiously. But, I am kinda in love with the New Maybelline Colossal Super Black Kajal. I own both the products so, i can definitely tell you the difference. The Original Colossal Kajal is definitely a good buy which gives beautiful definition to your eyes but its little dry and you have to apply atleast two strokes to get that dark finish. While, New Maybelline Colossal Kajal is magical. You need only one stroke to get those bold eyes. Also, it has a creamy smooth texture which helps you to apply smoothly. Both the products are smudge free. But, New Colosssal Super Black kajal is surely wash proof. The Original Colossal Kajal starts fading after 6 or 7 hours but the New Colossal Super Black Kajal stays whole day long. Best part is both the products can be used for lining up your upper eyelid along with waterlines. I personally use them for both the purposes; lining the eye lid and waterlines.

Pocket Pinch:

The Original Colossal Kajal’s cost has been revised to 199 Rs while the New Colossal Super Black Colossal Kajal’s Cost is 300 Rs. Maybelline is known to be one of the pocket friendly brands. Though, this new launch has been a little pocket pinch but it is worthy enough to spend 300 Rs on New Colossal Super Black Kajal.
Tested And Approved
I have used both the products before giving the review. Hopefully, the above review would be useful for you in some or the other way. If you have any suggestions please comment below. Also, do not forget to like and share.
